The provincial brand belongs to all Albertans, and as more individuals and organizations come aboard as ambassadors you will see the new Alberta identity in all kinds of places, both inside and outside the province.
Here are some examples of the brand at work:

Above: Following Albertan athletes and artists at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games was easy with this iPhone/BlackBerry app, sponsored by brand ambassador WinSport Canada.
Above: Alberta House, Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games. With a fantastic location just outside BC Place, Alberta House and Plaza entertained thousands of people during the Games. Not only could they and passers-by see Alberta's new identity, they experienced Albertan hospitality, food and a diverse line-up of musicians.

Above: Alberta Train (Rocky Mountaineer). This link between Vancouver and Whistler -- one of the only means of transport between the two locations -- became a sensation among passengers and media. Fortunately, the train cars will stay like this through the high-tourism season and into October. It's excellent exposure for everyone who uses 'Alberta' to help promote the province as a place for people realizing possibilites.

Alberta's new brand was recently at work at the 2009 ICLEI World Congress in Edmonton. ICLEI is an international association of local governments and national and regional organizations that have made a commitment to sustainable development. More than 1000 cities, towns, counties, and their associations worldwide comprise ICLEI's growing membership, representing over 400 million people. Additionally, the Government of Alberta has updated the ministry websites, Alberta.ca homepage, and the Premier of Alberta's website. This is the beginning of the government's program to phase in a new corporate signature and to proudly support Alberta's new place brand.
